For the Cheapest Room in Town, Get Thee to a Nunnery

I stayed at a Catholic residence for women and I can't remember the name. The nuns came from Canada and mainly spoke French . We had a room and breakfast and dinner as part of our fee. I think that I paid 12 dollars a week. I was in New York to study music. I believe that it was located on 14th street between 7th and 8th avenues. I would appreciate knowing the name and address .
