I heard right after we went into Iraq a rebuttle to the remark that we were creating terrorist by being in Iraq. The rebuttle was there were already terrorist in Iraq before we got there, and our being there only made those who hated us already more willing to serve the jihadist. McWhorter is correct in his opinion that people are tribal. Even Americans are tribal to a large degree when you look at the way people want to move to a neighborhood that has people in it that are like them. No one wakes up one morning and decides to move to a neighborhood where people are totally different from them . It would produce a feeling of extreme insecurity. And that is the whole affect of being in a tribe, security. Not only physical security in knowing that those that are like in kind will be much more likely to take care of you, but also security in ideas and feelings. Being in a tribe that are like youself you feel much more safe that your ideas and attitudes will be accepted and echoed by the rest of the tribe. What one feels in the tribe is reproduced in the whole tribe. Like the phrase, "when you attack me, you attack the whole group." And the whole tribe will decend upon you if you are an outsider. I have had the misfortune of experiencing this very reaction when I had a problem with a neighbor making excessive noise with a motorcycle one night at 2 AM. Even though I knew this individual was making trouble for the persons living there, as he was a jilted lover of the woman next door and the guy was drunk; when I went over there to complain about the noise he was making not only did he come after me but the whole house emptied out against my threatening remarks about the noise this guy was making. The illegal Mexican aliens all feel like they are one tribe when they marched on Monday. Anyone on the sidelines yelling at them to go back to Mexico brought the ire of everyone within earshot. As if the protesters were of one mind. When you are dealing with uneducated individuals as is the case of most of these illigals, it's not our fine education system that caused them to risk their lives to come here. That may have been at one time, but not now. It's just the fact that they don't have to do all the hard work to do what Americans have done over the past two hundred years that has produced this country they want to benefit from. Not that they aren't capable of doing what we've done in their own country, it's if they could get out of the trible mentality and do what we've done in their own country they wouldn't be coming here. But as Mr. McWhorter points out some peoples tribleness cannot be put aside long enough to progress any further than just surviving until tomorrow, like the Mexicans. Americans prove once again that we are truely a different kind of people and are capable of doing things that mose other people cannot do. That's why other nationalities hate us. Because we are different in all the best ways. Ways they cannot duplicate in the own land, and unfortunately cannot do in this land either. All you have to do is look at the Islamist and Mexicans to see this fact. The strange thing is that now the American Blacks are complaining that African Blacks and Blacks from other lands are excelling far beyond the American Black. Wait a minute I thought these Africans were the American Blacks brothers in kind. What happened to that all of a sudden. It seems now that the shoe is on the other foot. Those who are supposed to hate America are actually finding out that taking advantage of the opportunities that are available to everyone that life can be pretty darn good in 'ol America after all. Instead of us trying to get on all the countries sides that hate us maybe we'd be better off if we just ignored all the countries that hate us and get on with the business of making things better again for Americans and not worry so much about other people's hate. I've found when I worry to much about some one hating me I make changes in myself that are not necessarily what I need to be doing at the time. So I shake off these un-like-me feelings and go on and do what I need to do. America needs to do the same. We have laws that are going unenforced for the sake of making people like Mexicans feel good about us. It may be a situation where no matte how open the borders are Mexicans will always feel like we owe them something. The same for sending them money, building schools, sending our businesses down there so they can have jobs. For all we have done for them they still hate us. This is proof Ms. Clinton that all that you think you should do for someone that hates you will in some way change their mind will not change their mind at all. What really happens is they end up hating you even more because they feel like we think we have to give them all those things because we think they can't do it for themselves. In the case of Mexicans, we are right. If they could, they would. That's why they come here. People whose whole trible ideology is based on hating those who have more that the tribe does will never get their minds on what it is that they need to do in order to be more like the people they hate. Maybe if they did we'd have a little friendly competition going on instead of protest marches about how unfair America is. No, we're not unfair it's that we don't have a very high regard for underachievers, and shouldn't. That's how America has gone in the backward direction for the past thirty-five plus years waiting for underachievers to catch up. Like hateful trible attitude towards the tribe that has more goats than the other tribe does, ignorance only wants to kill that which exposes ignorances weakness. Anti-Americanism is based on this mindset. It's called guilt, on the part of those who hate. They hate us because we can and do, and they can't and may not ever be able to do. That is life on planet Earth. That is the way things were set in motion eons ago. Mankind is like that. What he can't have he hates, what he doesn't have the capacity to understand he wants to destroy because it reminds him of how dumb he is.
