While I'd like to take issue with the addle-brained propaganda throughout this piece, in the interest of brevity, I'll just focus on a single point in the lede:

Kazimi calls the neoconservatives the "fall guys for what is hyperbolically called the 'catastrophe in Iraq.'"

I think that rather than "fall guys," he should use the more apt term "architects" (they loved that term when the invasion started, as I recall)... oh, and considering what's *actually* going on in Iraq these days, I'm pretty sure the editor should have removed the word "hyperbolically" and those pesky quotation marks around "catastrophe in Iraq," too:

The rest of the editorial could/should have been similarly edited to reflect the truth of the situation, IMO. But then, there wouldn't have been enough to fill the column, I fear.
