Think more clearly - Reader comments at The New York Sun

What kind of assumption is that, "if this were all true?" Iran is a sworn enemy of Al-Qaeda and ideology drives a major part of Iran's foreign policy. They don't flip flop enemies daily like the Americans. It was Taliban backed by Al-Qaeda that killed 9 Iranian diplomats. You guys are full of yourselves if you think this BS. If anything, America is the one that supports Al-Qaeda and their terrorist operations through the notion of "counter-insurgency" measures. America has a history of supporting terrorists like Saddam and Bin Laden, Iran has been sworn enemies with these fanatics from day 1. The only "terrorist" groups Iran supports are groups that are indigenous, resisting occupation (Hizbollah, Hamas), not some make-shift Saudis trying to kill Muslims.
