War Crime Warrants Revive ‘Darfur Conspiracies'

It is great that you publish this article, but this constant drum-beating by responsible members of the media, and in the public, has failed to lead to a conclusion that results in action, where it counts: on the ground in Darufr.

It is time to take action, yet all the international actors that should take action are derelict in their duty. It therefore falls to the individual man and woman to rise to the occassion and take personal responsiblity.

This call to action that I am making is for the individual. In this current day and time that comes across as crazy, if not ludicrous; yet it is the only logial and moral step. Enough years have been allowed to give the governments and institutions of the world time to act.

I therefore call on you to trumpet this call to action. All people that care about this genocide in Darfur should either provide moral support, financial support, or flesh and blood to muster a non-governmental international armed humanitarian volunteer force, which will respond to the genocide. This initiative is not to be some half-cocked enterprise. I have already had offers of support from former members of the mlitary, and more importantly from average man and women ready to rise to this moral imperative.

What we need are individuals with the financial and related resources to join in funding and managing this initiative.
