Reid Hits Back at Edwards Over Iraq Timetable

Submitted by Mike Malonet, May 3, 2007 22:53

Reid's comments really get to the heart of the problem with Edwards. When he was actually in the Senate, casting actual votes, he voted on the wrong side of this Iraq War. Now that he's out of the Senate and sees his only chance to win is to run to the far left, he's attacking his fellow Democrats for purely political gain. This has really turned me off of Edwards. It looks like he's not just flip-flopping on political positionsm he's flip-flopping on his 2004 pledge to keep things positive. Edwards is one of the only Democrats that I would have a hard time supporting if he won the nomination. You just can't trust a guy like that.
