I can't believe you and your spurious reasoning. When I was a child, I lived near a Jewish community and my Jewish friends attended Hebrew school all the time. Nobody complained. I also knew Greek children who attended Greek school in order to learn their language. Americans like you seem to be afraid of learning a
language other than English, the one we speak more poorly every day. I watch people like Lou Dobbs constantly complaining about how immigrants do not speak English. No new immigrants arrive with English except those whose native language it is. The first generation never knows English. It is their children who learn it. The children then have to study their parents' language in order not to let it die in the family. Your name sounds Spanish. I speak Spanish and English equally well even though I was raised in Western Pennsylvania as a wasp. I have lived in Venezuela and now live in Pennsylvania. I have taught Spanish at 3 different universities and if there is anything that burns me up, it is the "Let them learn English attitude" of Americans who never learn a word of another language and are sure that Jesus Christ spoke English. Americans work overseas by the thousands and with few exceptions they never, repeat never learn to speak the language of the "natives". Read the book The Ugly American and you will know how we live and work overseas. Get a life,
