This all seems to be 1 big game to people who are supposed to be protecting our country. First off anyone who has been following thses cases would know notice that it is somewhat funny that Liborio Bellomo is infront of the same "Judge" that he was infront of back in 1997 that even at that time was not a fair Judge. After he gave Mr. Bellomo the max amount of time that he could, he the Judge on another case where a Jewish man imbezzeled money. Judge Kaplan gave him a slap on the wrist because he said that this man had children at home, and he should be able to be home to teah them values or whatever. So I guess that Mr Kaplan felt that Mr. Bellomo with 4 children at home shouldnt have been able to do the same? Secondly, people who enter the witness protection program are NOT people who decided to out of the goodness of they're heats, these are murderers, drug dealers/users. These people get themselves into trouble, and will do ANYTHING to get themselves out of it. In reading about this case it seems that OUR tax dollars are not going into actual evidence against Mr. Bellomo, but in tactics to threaten Mr. Bellomo into taking another plea. I hope this case goes to trial, so that other tax payers see what they're hard earned money goes twoards
