Soon after the story first hit the fan, one Beacon blogger (according to a story in the NY Post) attacked the "pro-American" critics of the school.
Too bad, with their visits to Cuba, Venezuela, and any other socialist showcases (why not North Korea?), why don't these wise fools realize that this country is the true workers' paradise? Answer: they've been propagandized into hating free enterprise and, apparently "Americanism" as well.
The students should be made to undertake a detailed study of Goebbels' propaganda techniques so they can see how they've been indoctrinated by a myopic ideologue who, as such, has forfeited his right to teach. Then, if they still see themselves as having brilliant and unique insights into the faults of capitalism and democracy, they ought to examine the work by Irving Janis' on the processes involved in Groupthink.
