‘An Inconvenient Truth' For New Yorker Readers

It's nice that Mr. Gore has something to occupy his time, but frightening the population is not a recreational choice he should be allowed. The earth goes through a continuous rotation of hot to cold phases. There have been several Ice Ages, both great and small and interveening warm spells all of which are recorded in the numerous examinations of the earth's strata that scientists well know. You will notice that responsable geographers are not on this lunatic band-wagon of Gore's. Electing him to as much as dog-catcher will not change history or what nature has planned for us next. I noticed he didn't get any advanced warning on Katrina.

Mr. Gore should sit down and keep eating.
