Gay Rites Will Help Families, Spitzer Says

Submitted by Robert Paul Dean, May 9, 2007 10:11

Thank goodness there is at least one high-level Democratic politician who sees the gay rights struggle for what it actually is -- a civil rights issue. Governor Spitzer turns on its head all the ridiculous talk about gay marriage undermining the institution of marriage, when actually the opposite is true. Now, if only one of the Democratic candidates for president had Mr. Spitzer's clarity and the courage to take a moral stand. I am so disppointed in all the front-runners, who are one and all equivocating, mealy-mouthed hypocrites, who say what they think will get them elected.
