Years ago, an old family friend brought my daughter to this restaurant. She liked it so much that I was compelled to go. Ever since, it has become a tradition with me for an occasional lunch. I take my son and my friends. For a woman of a certain age, I love the food, the ambiance, the nostalgia for the New York of my youth. Only in my youth, we never could afford to go to a real French restaurant for lunch! I am amazed every time that it is still there, while the rest of New York is transformed by the hedge fund crowd. Thank you, Mr Treboux. We are a party of three for lunch today.
