We agree in total with this article. Our State Department needs a thorough cleaning as we are conducting same policy with Palastenians as the Carter administration. I suggest to you that Israel is the only ally that USA may truly count on in The Mideast.

Might we also suggest that USA is in effect funding the unrest in Palastine at the direction of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. The terrible speach that Sec.Rice made @ UN at time of latest war in Lebanon demonstrates our misguided thinking about the entire region. It is time to "make nice" to our friends and cease being "sweet & nice" to our adversaries. Oh yes, did we not engineer an election in Palastine and the bad guy won ?? Yet USA continues to pour more money into that area with no return on investment ! (Of course we are doing the same thing in Lebanon)

We ,USA, need a new policy for that entire region....before it's too late !
