That is true, the Mormon church has had many horrific injustices as official policy in the not so distant past, and also in the present, as has essentially every other Church. The question is though, should someone be judged on what their Church believes? I say no - unless they agree with their Church. These questions should certainly be put to Romney and if he says he agrees with the Church's position then he should be judged harshly for it, but if he says he disagrees with the Church on that point that should be the end of the issue. If he wants to stay with a Church that he disagrees with, that is his personal choice. There is too much religion in politics in America.
