So what, who cares? Considering Israelis bickering among themselves over whether or not the present government has the right to rule, and Hamas still enjoying their power over the rival faction within Palestinians society (and advocating Israel's destruction), what would she hope to accomplish now?

Iraq is a basket case, and she is trying to sell the "bubble", and Bush's latest moves in that country.

Iran's nukes are more important to peace than Israel's quarrel with it's Palestinian neighbors.

Blair is out of power.

No, Korea is stonewalling on closing it's atomic bomb factories.

Polls in the US show we are confused about our place in the world, support for Iraq, and overall involvement in the world's problems.

Condi is a good trooper however, and, unlike Livni, understands who is boss. I doubt she would tell Bush to resign. No way, no how.

Our (US) position is still the same in the M.E. We want a two state solution...Israel in Israel and holding on to the major settlement blocks, in exchange for an Arab world's guarantee of a peaceful Palestine, with no variations allowed in the remainder of the area between the Med. and the Jordan River.

It's really quite simple on paper. But, Condi understands the difficulty of it being accomplished.

Still, it's the best solution....in the long run. Anything else is a recipe for a calamity of unspeakable horrors, for everyone.
