Despite Being No. 2 for Health, Taiwan Is Blocked From WHO

Submitted by Chang, May 11, 2007 17:36

If WHO continues to reject Taiwan from being a member, then it should change it's name to reflect that it is a political and not a health organisation. Pathogens know no border and ostracising Taiwan so it is unable to access current outbreak information is inhumane. Unfortunately, no one wants to displease China because of its huge population which translates into potential businesses. Everyone only has dollar signs for pupils. BTW, what's wrong with flying before learning to walk? As far as I'm concerned, chicks often learn to fly before they walk. No wonder the un-named Chinese diploamt wishes to remain anonymous.
