A Question for Giuliani - A Question for Alicia Colon
The article was excellent, however, I would ask Ms. Cohon to check her facts regarding the Catholic Church's stand on abortion. There is no exception to the murder of the unborn ("condemns it in all cases unless the health of the mother is at risk."). The Catechism of the Catholic Church has many sections devoted to the sacredness of human life. Some include 2258, 2319, 2263-73, 2559-83. I am sorry I don't have the exact section that address it at my finger tips. If by the "health of the mother" you meant treatment to save a mother's life that results in a miscarriage then please make that clear. In today's society the phrase health of the mother means whatever a person wants it to be. Please do not add to the misinformation many pass on regarding the Church's teaching. Thank you.
