I remember 9-11 and how the destruction of New York was shown on television and our President George Bush visited the site and was talking with the policemen, firemen & others. I know that he was or must have been in shock. I would have been thinking about "How could anyone do this to our country"? He had to want to immediately retaliate against those who caused us harm and did not want any act of aggression against our shores again. He tried for quite a while to get approval from the United Nations, our Senate and House of Representatives to approve of going to war. It took quite a while before he got it approved. Meanwhile, if Saddam had any "weapons of mass destruction" I am confident that he got them out of the country or probably had already used it against his own people. We all knew that Saddam kept the weapon inspection teams from the UN out of his country. WHY DO YOU SUPPOSE HE WAS DOING THAT!!! Saddam was an evil man and should have been killed. Some say we are there for their oil. Not true we have plenty in lots of places. Chavez is being a "jerk" too and we keep turning the other cheek. There will always be "bad guys" in this world. Our President Bush is trying his best to do the right thing and many are making fun of him. What a shame. Even if you do not agree with him, you should respect the man and his office. I thank God every day that we have George Bush and not John Kerry. My concern is that some of those who want to lead our country will never be able to measure to half the man that George Bush has been.

Heart-wrenching because it is exactly the spot President Bush has been put into. [MORE]
