Spitzer's Silence on Ethanol Fight Speaks Volumes

Submitted by lindsay, May 13, 2007 19:13

I am not commenting on booze when I say ethanol does more harm than good. I am talking about motor fuel. The left wing tree huggers and the right wing moneymen are in cohoots on this one. Prof Tad Patzek of UC Berkeley is the guru on this and has shown the harmful effects to the earth using ethanol as a fuel. Mother Nature never intended photosynthesis (a process that is only 0.1% efficient) to propel hundreds of millions of motor vehicles. New York City residents already use far less fuel than the rest of the nation. If Houstonians and the rest of us like me in California, lived like Big Applers we would be energy independent without wasting precious food on vehicle fuel. The future will be more like the Honeymooners than like the Brady Bunch
