Sacred Cows Go To Hitchens's Abattoir

Whatever the agenda of Christopher Hitchens may be, his general critique of mono-theism in particular is sound. Unfortunately due to his own prejudices, he and others like him continue to confuse religion with God. Religion may very well be a complete fabrication. Theology after all is a human intellecutal endeavour and all mono-theism is built upon those shifting sands. But he fails to offer any insight in the ultimate question and ironically he shares that in common with his religious foes. But he better look over his shoulder as the first new religious teaching that offers a testable proof for faith is spreading on the web and we may know sooner than is comfortable for all of us, the difference between what is true and what is not.
