White House, Senators Eye Immigration Deal

It seems of all the candidates, McCain is the only one pushing forward on this. No-one is going to get everything they want but at least those coming back in after going home will be checked and we will know who they are. Those who don't go home then come back will tip off officials to ask why. Finally, employers will have a way to validate employees' status and wont be able to hide behind the "I had no way to check" BS. Illegals who have been living off American citizens would now ave to pay a hefty fine. Great. Stopping illegal hiring practices is the only way to solve this problem. That is why I like this deal. Obama doesnt like it because immigrants wouldnt be able to bring their entire families in. To him, Spouses and children aren't enough, let them bring in their uncles, cousins, parents, in-laws. WOW. He also is afraid workers would overstay their visas. So what Obama! They are staying here anyway without any visa. We all know who Obama is working for--VOTES! Not those of legal citizens anyway. Romney doesnt like it because he says is unfair to those who are waiting in line. Read the bill Romney---The first 8 years will be dedicated to clearing the green cards for those waiting in line. Fred Thomson is the biggest jerk who simply doesnt like it because he thinks securing the boarder without stopping the incentives is enough. All senators who say that this bill is bad and boarder security is more important is full of BS because never has boarder security been enforced, and until we stop supplying the incentive to be here, all the fences in the world wont do a damn thing. I had hopes for Giuliani, but so far I havent heard of him taking a stance on employers who hire illegals. He seems pretty soft on this issue. Too bad.
