Nets Must Disband Big Three This Summer

Submitted by george, May 21, 2007 06:55

Hello-

maybe we should use the Knicks' philosophy and just max everyone out, trade useful players for overpaid useless players, strap our team to contracts that keep going after the player is gone, and then go to Isiah II: get younger and athletic, but without any defense. That would be a lot better than being a team that competes for 6 years and plays hard on both ends, and can go into the playoffs with a chance. Realistically, they are not getting anything back for those three. If they could trade Carter or Jefferson for a decent big and a young talent, sure. DAHHHHHHH. But they are what they are - and that's a good, not great, solid team, unlike the least famous arena team across the river.
