After Strong Start, Manning's Game Spiraling Out of Control

I think you've nailed many of the Giants' problems, but I also think that since Petigout went down Tiki Barber has been too busy helping Whitfield in pass blocking to make much of an impact on offence. Since the loss of Toomer, Manning seems exclusively focused on Burress.

After closely watching Manning since the day he was drafted and comparing him with Rothlisberger and Rivers whom we could have had/did have, I'm beginning to worry we have another first round "bust." He is simply not accurate, nor does he seem to bring any great desire to win. He looks like he's playing a backyard game of catch. You don't see "fire" in him like you saw in Simms or Hoss. I've noted race horses over the years with fantastic pedigrees that ended up in claiming races.
