Kansas Congressman Rebukes Mayor on Guns

Submitted by Michael Sorgenfrei, May 21, 2007 10:02

Recently, in the New York Post, Mayor Bloomberg called the Fraternal Order of Police a "fringe" organization because they support the renewal of the Tiahrt Amendment. Also, Michael Sullivan (Acting Director of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) published an article saying that the trace data, while available to legitimate law enforcement, was sensitive and to be treated like any crime scene evidence.

Mayor Bloomberg has his own agenda here and it has nothing to do with crime control.
