There's one reason I'm glad powers that be at The Sun decided to drop a copy of the paper at my doorstep every morning — Tim Marchman. Your insightful comments and obsessive winnowing of baseball statistics have helped me appreciate the game more fully. I delighted in quoting you to all and sundry in section V of the upper deck at Shea last night as we watched John Maine struggle through another May game and as we watched several balls drop in the vicinity of Shawn Green. I eagerly look forward to reading your column every morning. Thank you.
