May I add, that before the students rushed the stage, Gilchrist had the microphone for at least one minute, and he spent it ridiculing the students who were protesting, and then stepping away to have a quick phone conversation with his wife.

The students were wrong for going on stage, but I think it was exactly what Gilchrist wanted. He had no intentions of talking about anything that day!
