Israel's Lieberman Calls for Tougher Stance on Israeli Arabs
in response to reader comment: Israel, like the US becoming more racist and totalitarian

On the one hand, Lieberman's tactics seem a bit harsh. On the other hand, what other options does Israel have? Ehud Barak tried to make peace with the Palestinians through an agreement. It did not work. Sharon tried the unilateral withdrawal plan. That obviously did not work either. And obviously, Israel can not live forever in the status quo of perpetual warfare. So, what has Israel not tried? TRANSFER. Unfortunately, that seems to be the only option left. Of course, such moves are not moral, but what other choices does Israel have without a peace partner? Situation looks quite bleak, if you ask me.
