I have been doing the NYT crossword for about 2 years. My husband prints it out, and we race each other. I am in my seventies and heard that doing crosswords would be a good thing for memory. I guess it is because I am out of the house a required 9 hours a day plus travel time.

It would be lonely figuring out the logic behind the puzzles, but Rex Parker (whom I recently discovered) has made the puzzles exciting and even funny sometime.
