We might get better results if we look for people who we WANT to put into office, rather than passively respond to advertising campaigns where people promote themselves.

Imagine that the possibility of a Cronkite draft became widely discussed. We would certainly become more interested in who the vice-presidential choice would be. We should be more interested in this question, for our own good. For the good of the nation and world.
