Paul Gardner is terrific at finding faults with American soccer but rarely offers solutions or ideas to overcome them. He reminds me of a biitter old man sitting at the dinner table who offers nothing but complaints. He criticizes European soccer but comes out in support of academies. Get writers who offer new ideas and viable solutions to problems.
