Iran today threated Israel's destruction again, saying that in the event Israel attacks Lebanon the entire Arab world will turn on Israel and in effect, destroy it.
Hamas has asked for a cease fire, while it fires more Kassams and threatens with the more sophisticated GRAD Missiles. Hamas is being punished by Israeli air attacks and it knows it.
So, typically, it wants a timeout as the Palestinian militants have done countless times before, in order to regroup and re-equip (similar to the UN imposed cease fire in Lebanon, when Israel was beginning to hurt Hezbollah.
Those who want diplomacy and negotiations to resolve this conflict are fooling themselves.
They have it backwards in denouncing Hillel who is a citizen of Israel. He may spend time in the States, but he lives in Israel, and I'm sure his family also reside there.
It's the critics who are wrong. They can expouse all kinds of failed solutions previously attempted, while in the safety of their homes in Queens or wherever. I would ask them, if your neighborhood were being subjected to Kassams, what would you do?
In fact, what would anyone do if their city was being hit with rockets constantly?
