Scrutinize Amnesty International

The basis for the article is a study by the NGO
Monitor... which, surprise!, is a pet project of the Jerusalem Center for Public
Affairs. In its own words, the Monitor was formed to "end the practice used by
certain self-declared 'humanitarian NGOs' of exploiting the label 'universal
human rights values' to promote politically and ideologically motivated
anti-Israel agenda." In other words,

But wait, that's not all! Guess who authored this piece? Gerald Steinberg,
EDITOR OF THE NGO MONITOR... and also a consultant for the Israeli Ministry of
Foreign Affairs and National Security Council. Yeah, I'm sure that's an unbiased
"study." LMAO!

It's not really a surprise that they'd try to bury Israel's awful human rights
record behind a partisan hatchet job on Amnesty International. Remember, this is
the same paper (the NY Sun) that published an editorial stating that all
activists protesting the Iraq war should be tried for treason
