Amnesty International has always been accused of partiality.
During the cold war , the soviets were prompt to state that Amnesty was under american influence, and reciproquely the US suspected Amnesty to be manipulated by the communists.

This continues today and this article is just the demonstration of the "inconvenient truth" syndrome.

The annual report of Amnesty international is essential for protecting human rights across nations and regimes and for measuring progress over time.
