We must have been at different performances...

Carousel is one of Mr Wheeldon's very best and most beautiful and beautifully danced pieces..

There was nothing "creaky" about any of the performances and/or ballets.

There is a certain cynisism in this review, as if it were fashionable to attack NYCB for the last 20 or so years since Peter Martins took over after Mr. Balanchine died.

"Chacun a son gout"... the audience that night respectfully disagrees with you, even though it was not t composed of the "regulars"
