Is It Al-Jazeera Or CNN International?

I am a major news junkie and when I lived outside of the U.S. I used to read about a half dozen papers every day, including some on-line editions: British, American, Lebanese, Moroccan, Spanish, etc. And I was transfixed by the appearance of Al Jazeera. The strength of its geographic coverage, ie the Middle East, should be a boon to Western viewers actually interested in what's going on in distant parts of the world, especially in places where the news gets coverage of little depth in the Western media but whose events affect our lives. I found Al Jazeera English to be measured, thoughtful, professional, adventuresome in its interviews, and intrepid in its coverage. Time will tell if it will live up to its initial hype, but so far, I can only say, Bravo.
