As an intellegent, beautiful, seventy one year young female, I am subject to the perception of the "society's" negative perceptions of "older" people. And it does not come from the children. In our "Old Age", we are allowed the great opportitunity to volunteer 100 hours of "unpaid work" and nothing else. To Society we become a look into their old, sickly, wrinkled up looks. We are made to feel Invisable to the point of sucicide.
What a waste of the older society. The "Old" can bring much wisdom, productivity, and love to the current and new generations. But as long as "Society" sees only the negative, will it ever become a reality?
How about the problem of execellent care for the babies//children? Now there's a thought!
