Whole Foods Not Green Enough For Some Brooklynites

Submitted by Ananomous Resident, Jun 4, 2007 06:19

Though Whole Foods Market is an environmental dream come alive, and Park Slope is a haven for innovators and environmental pioneers, is there not another site in the currently popular community called Brooklyn, that could facilitate a clean up without jepordizing the residential water supply? Where other areas not as popular because of Median income or employable work staff? Considering that location is a integral factor in the selection of a commercial entity, where there no other brooklyn communities that could facilitiate a space adequate for the type of philosophy whole foods pronounces itself to be as a green business? Clearly Brooklyn has the space and perhaps there are communities who would welcome a green grocer like whole foods, it looks as though whole foods is being a bit shy to dig deep.
