As a Republican, I agree with Hagel on pulling out of Iraq. Enough is enough. However, I suspect that Hagel has the wrong motives. If he in fact told an Arab group that support for Israel shouldn't be automatic, then that is troubling. Jihadists are playing sneaky games with Western politicians.
