Turkish Force of 250,000 Set for Kurds

Submitted by pushdaree, Jun 8, 2007 19:57

What I do not understand is that American Administration has not learned lessons of South American. It supported regimes that acted against its own people and some in USA wonder why the biggest democracy is so unpopular among many nations. Turkish regimes since inception of current Turkey have been oppressing and subjugating Kurds. The apartheid like policy of denying the existence of Kurds, calling them "Mountain Turks", denying parents from naming their offspring Kurdish names, etc... can not be simply overlooked because Turkey is a NATO member. Cold war is over and USA can not be Turkey's sugar Daddy at the expense of 20 millions Kurds living under repression of Turks.

PKK is nothing but a freedom fighting group of people who rejected the Turkish State of subjection of Kurds by fascist regime of Turks. And for the leaders of South Kurdistan to do anything to help the fascist force is a gross betrayal of Kurdish Nation. I sincerely hope that the South Kurdistan will stand up against oppression of Turkish army. Let the Turks huff and buff for the end will be soon coming.
