The Floyd Landis hearings produced a total demolition of every claim USADA and the French testing lab made against Landis. The very public scientific review proved without a doubt that the lab mishandled and contaminated Landis' samples (dropped the tray on the floor in front of witnesses), weren't trained how to operate the isotope measurement and gas chromatography equipment, and were using out-of-spec computers to do their work. It was also proved that time and again, the lab tester and supervisor deleted the test result when it didn't produce a positive.
One expert witness, describing the lab process he witnessed (who, interestingly is the chief engineer for the anti-doping test equipment) stated that the way the LNDD lab used the equipment reduced it to nothing more than a very expensive random number generator. It remains to be seen whether there will be an honest outcome, or whether anti-doping authorities will be so desparate to cover their asses that they suspend Landis anyway
