Weiner Floats Plan To Rival Bloomberg's Commuter Tax

Submitted by Edmund Benti, Jun 9, 2007 06:36

We are moving to an America where the ruling elite are simply ordering the working poor and the middle-class to simply hand over what is left of their money: mandated low-quality health insurance, mandated low-quality auto insurance, traffic taxes regressive in all but name, carbon taxes soon to come, sellling off of vital priceless infrastructure already paid for with working peoples' hard earned taxes, selling off of "surplus government property" to the wealthiest bidders. The ruling elite are giddy with their power and oppressing the home crowd in ways once reserved only for Third World wretches. One can only pray that this hubris will have a price to pay somewhere down the road.
