Sarkozy is playing a dangerous game, there is no need for him to block Turkey-EU negotiations, Turkey is not becoming a member tomorrow besides French will hold a referandum at the end when the time comes. So why block membership talks now? Besides such a move will take its toll on EU-Turkey relations and ofcourse France-Turkey relations. Turkey this week has already withdrew its support of the new EU army as a warning sign.
