OK, so it's a dump, but it's our dump! Let's look at the positives; first of all, the back drop of the chop shops have served their purpose - think of how much uglier the stadium would look without them! At least Shea has been in contact with a paint brush over the years. When you're seven, and spent a spring selling candy for your cub scout troup for the chance to earn a ticket in the Ucker seats, and at that game Seaver beats Sutton & the Dodgers 2-1, this dump is etched in your mind on the same level as the Vatican.
