Mayor Cheers as Math Gains Start To Show

Statistical evaluations of this kind are such easy prey to abusive construction. This reader remains unimpressed, having continual contact with young students of a local public school., i.e., reviewing their "mathematics" homework--which books continue to infuriate me! Occasionally, there is an exercise with merit--but the opposite is most often true. However, if there is some progress--I commend it.

Yet, the last entry in this essay by someone obviously applauding a particular charter school: "...96% of kindergartners read on grade level"--truly disables me. Kindergartners read "I", "a", and "A,B,C". Help the educrats; they need it.!
