I did an installation of a small pilot project in Newtown Creek for Clean-Flo in the mid 90's. The restoration project was geared toward bringing in D.O. (dissolved Oxygen) to be brough to the benthix region od the creek. The 18 diffusers I installed worked great and eliminated odor, increaded clarity and bagn the reversal of eutrophication by recording D.O. at the bottom. After such great results, we heard nothing from the City of NY to expand on the project... not even a return phome call.... Maybe now there's a chance to get the help that this creek really needs.
