Jeter Allows for Weaknesses Around Him

Submitted by aj, Jun 18, 2007 12:01

The beauty of his offensive game is that he has the ability to hit first, second or third in the line up and do it well. If you asked him to hit third all year, he'd adjust and hit 30 HRS with 110 RBI. Everyone who watches him daily knows this. So, is it really necessary to denigrate the Scooter, Bucky Dent and Paul O'Neill to make an obvious point.

By the way, in case you're weren't around then, Bucky Dent was the anchor of that championship infield, made a great combo with Willie Randolph and in the era of Mark Belanger and Ozzie Smith, wasn't required to hit more than 250.
