Sure the results improved ... when you reformulate the scoring so the kids who would have scored 1 got pushed to 2 ... and the poor kids that are slightly above average scored 3 this year when they got 4 last year and would have gotten 4 this year too if it wasn't reformulated ... The BOE goal was to keep the number of students attending summer school down ... what happened to no kid left behind ... instead we push them ahead...
