They act in church because that is where they feel judged. They must pretend something that they don't feel in their heart. But in the polling booths there is no 'good christian' neighbor looking over one's shoulder. This is the heart of our system. SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE was set up for a reason. IF we have freedom of religion, as we pretend to, then If ANY religion (Unitarian Universalism for example) is willing to support love between two consenting gay people, the government should have no say. Unless we are going to outlaw other religions, who are you to tell me what spirituality i will have faith in. Much to the dismay of GW, the United States does NOT have a National religion.

I just wish that everyone would keep their religions off my civil rights.
