What Mark Steyn is saying is that the Moslem world is increasingly employing intimidation against the West. And they seem to be succeeding. We are being too polite, politically and societally correct with those who have a serious agenda to defeat the West. Islam has always had contempt for others. It is now trying to understand "what went wrong", why the Moslem world has fallen so far behind virtually everybody else in wealth, science, technology, when, after all, hundreds of years ago, they were foremost. But it appears that they have concluded that the "blame game" is the way to go, that others are responsible for their failures or lack of competitive ability. We in the West must be decisive in stopping this infliction on our sense of liberties.
