First, " in the effected area." Does that mean in another state, like across the street NY/NJ border or does it mean anywhere in Nassau County, even if 20 miles apart??
Second, "grossly exceeds the price." Even now, two gas stations on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn at the same intersection have a 10 cent/gallon difference and also change 10 cents difference for a quart of milk. Is the gas price differential illegal and not the milk for which there are already price controls? And what about 9 cents, 8 cents, ...? Does 1% rebate on a Mobile/Exxon/BP credit card count? Can an off-brand be 10 cents cheaper than a known brand? What if I close all but one self-service pump and have 5 'full service' at 10 cents a gallon extra? Legal??
